A powerful blast near the Mall Road in Lahore on Wednesday morning destroyed over 40 cars and completely razed some buildings. Several people have been injured in the blast. Rescue teams have been sent to the blast site and the injured have been rushed to the nearby hospitals.The area has been cordoned off by the police. There were unconfirmed reports about firing in the area after the blast. A car bomb was reportedly used to trigger the blast.
